Almaty – Turgen Waterfall (76 km) – Asa Plateau (44 km) – Almaty (110 km)
Plan:
- 8:00 – 9:00 The way from Almaty to Lake Issyk. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and you will go to Lake Issyk (40 km). The journey takes about 1 hour.
- 9:00 – 11:00 After buying entrance tickets to the Issyk and Turgen Ecopark, we will leave the car and walk to the lake on foot. (about 20 minutes on a convenient paved road). By the lake, you can sit and enjoy the surrounding nature.
- 11:00 – 12:00 Issyk Lake - the way to Turgen waterfall by car. After we get to the parking area, we will go hiking to the waterfall. (1.5 km along the ascending trail). Takes about 30 minutes.
- 14:00 – 15:00 the way to the Asy Plateau. On the way, we will stop and take pictures of horses and yurts. Then have a picnic next to the observatory.
- 17:00 -18:30 Asy – Almaty way
