    We spent a great day!
I had a great experience with my guide, Gulzat. She is very polite, kind and caring person. She replied me very quick any time. I came to Almaty from Japan alone. I was a little bit nervous before but I was very relieved by her support. She invited me to a nice riverside lunch on the way to Big Almaty Lake. I had an amazing afternoon. The lake was beautiful ....
"Huns" is an ethnic village, in Kazakh "auyl". The village is located in Talgar district, 40 km from the city of Almaty. The base is considered the first ethnographic village in Kazakhstan — here you can fully immerse yourself in the history of the Kazakh people, try saumal, live for a few days in a colorful yurt and do equestrian sports.

Kazakh culture is generous with traditions and customs. Among other things, the hospitality of the Kazakh people is famous. Kazakhs have for centuries formed a special attitude towards travelers and invited guests. They were always welcomed with open arms, special cordiality and generous treats. The table, which is generously covered with traditional dishes, is called "Dastarkhan".
The distinctive features of dastarkhan are generosity and wealth. It was served both for celebrations and feasts (toi), and for receiving guests in the house. Shubat and koumiss were prepared for the feast. For cooking meat, large boilers were used, which were called "taikazans". Kazakh cuisine is hearty at home, quite fatty, but still delicious in its own way. In this country, they love and really know how to cook meat, pastries and dairy products. You will be able to taste such famous Kazakh dishes as Beshbarmak, Manty, Kuyrdak and of course Kazy.

Tourists will be offered an interesting excursion program along the gorge, as well as horseback riding through the picturesque places of this region. The trip gives you the opportunity to admire picturesque natural places, breathe in fresh air and just relax. Archery and cycling are offered in the summer.

In the ethno-complex there are slides with a rope lift, Kazakh national attractions. Here you can also learn more about national traditions and learn horse riding.
