    We spent a great day!
I had a great experience with my guide, Gulzat. She is very polite, kind and caring person. She replied me very quick any time. I came to Almaty from Japan alone. I was a little bit nervous before but I was very relieved by her support. She invited me to a nice riverside lunch on the way to Big Almaty Lake. I had an amazing afternoon. The lake was beautiful ....
Lakes Kolsay and Kaindy are two natural attractions located in the southeastern part of Kazakhstan, near the border with Kyrgyzstan. Here is some more information about each of these lakes:

Lake Kolsay is a series of three interconnected lakes that are located in the Kolsay Gorge. The lakes are known for their crystal clear blue-green water, and they are surrounded by forests and mountain peaks. The first lake is the largest and most visited, its length is about 1 kilometer, and its depth is up to 80 meters. The second lake is smaller and deeper, with a depth of up to 50 meters, and the third lake is even smaller and deeper, with a depth of up to 80 meters. The area around the lakes is a popular place for hiking and camping.

Kolsay is a "natural mirror" in which the sky and trees are reflected. There is a beautiful legend about this "Pearl of Tien Shan". It is said that the God of Heaven, Tengri, had a daughter named Umai. All the animals admired her incredible beauty. And only Umai complained that she didn't know how beautiful she was. Then, at her request, Tengri created Lake Kolsai, in the reflection of which everyone will see their face and everything around them.
Kolsay is simply fascinating. You can see everything in it: tall fir trees, small birch twigs, trout playing, and even every feature of your face you will see in this magic mirror

Kaindy Lake is a smaller lake located in the same area as Kolsay Lake, but it is known for its unique appearance. The lake was formed as a result of an earthquake in 1911, which caused a landslide that blocked the river and created the lake. The water in the lake is extremely clear and cold, and the most distinctive feature of the lake is the flooded forest that can be seen in the water. The trees in the forest are still standing upright, and they create an eerie and beautiful underwater landscape. Kaindy Lake is a popular place for diving and snorkeling.

The lake is about 400 meters long and up to 30 meters deep. The water in the lake is crystal clear and has a blue-green color, which makes it a popular place for divers and photographers. Visitors can rent boats and explore the lake or go hiking in the surrounding forest.

Kaindy Lake is a popular tourist destination and can be visited all year round. The best time to visit is in the spring and summer months, when the weather is mild and the lake is the cleanest. Visitors can hike to the lake. Swimming in the lake is prohibited to preserve its fragile ecosystem, but visitors can enjoy other outdoor activities such as fishing, camping and hiking in the surrounding mountains.

Kolsay and Kaindy Lakes are located in a protected area, in a remote area, and it can be difficult to get there without a guide or a four-wheel drive vehicle. However, the beauty of the lakes and the surrounding landscape makes them worth visiting.
